Finite-difference time-domain simulation templates using GDSFactory FDTD, Meep, Tidy3D, Ansys Lumerical, and BEAMZ.

The GDSFactory FDTD notebooks use gsim.fdtd with 50–60 nm Yee grids for 3D S-bends, crossings, directional couplers, ring couplers, MMI splitters, and a fiber-to-chip grating coupler. Each notebook includes an interactive 3D geometry view. Guided-port examples show S-parameters and field plots with equal physical axis scales; the grating-coupler example shows guided power relative to the net downward monitor flux.
